25-year-old Liladhar son Kalicharan, a resident of village Mahua near Mala range of Gajraula area of Pilibhit, was attacked and injured by a tiger while ambushed in a sugarcane field.
Liladhar, a resident of village Mahua in Gajraula area, was returning from his home on Wednesday evening after buying similar items from Bithora Kala Bazaar. As soon as Mahua and Ajitpur reached between Patpara, a tiger ambushed in the sugarcane field attacked Liladhar.
On being attacked by the tiger, the injured started shouting loudly, the nearby villagers rushed and shouted. Due to which the tiger went to the nearby sugarcane field. The villagers gave information to the department by phone, on which 1 sentence was told by the staff to take 108 from the ambulance, do not take it from the private part, then the villagers called the ambulance 108 but the ambulance arrived after about 1 hour and she was sent to the district hospital for treatment. No staff of the forest department was sent to the spot due to which the villagers are very angry with the forest department.
At the same spot, the tiger also made his morsel on the bull 10 months ago. The forest department, which is roaming the sugarcane field around the village, does not have any concrete arrangement in view of careless security.
